Introducing Elly Royston
I am thrilled to introduce Elly to the team at Burns IP.
Elly’s outstanding academic qualifications
Elly received her Juris Doctor from Monash University. She also holds a Business degree, graduating at the top of her class in her Management major. She has achieved outstanding academic results in her post-graduate Juris Doctor, including a distinction in the Harvard Law unit on copyright.
Technology-focused
Elly has a strong interest in all things tech and with her understanding of software and coding, she is an amazing resource in both the protection of software-related IP and in the automation of IP prosecution practice.
We love Elly’s commercial-orientated acumen, and our clients do too!
She has also gained experience volunteering at Community Legal Centres and as a professional practice student working at the Monash University Law Clinic.
Get to know Elly
She graduated with a Juris Doctor from Monash University and previously graduated from a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Business Law and Management.
Elly is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Victoria, Australia.
She is currently studying her Masters IP courses towards attaining registration as a Trade Mark Attorney.
In her spare time, Elly loves spending time with her Greyhound (Murphy), watching The Office and supporting the Essendon Bombers!
